What is vaping?
It is officially defined as inhaling vapors from a small device known as electronic cigarette, e cigarette, or simply e cig. As part of an electronic cigarette, there are several parts that work simultaneously. This is what allows the vapor to deliver nicotine-flavored juice to the user. Electronic cigarettes have different shapes and sizes. It has existed for more than 10 years, but not too popular until the last 7-8 years.
Who invented the electronic cigarettes?
The first electric cigarette that actually worked and marked the beginning of the vaping revolution was invented by Chinese pharmacist Hon Lik in 2003. Consequently, the short answer to the question of who invented the cigarette is Hong Lick. This is a simple answer! But the concept of e cig can be traced back almost 100 years ago.
The history of electronic cigarettes goes back much further than in 2003. In fact, an American named Herbert Gilbert invented and patented electronic cigarettes in 1965. However, Gilbert’s design was never developed. To go back, Joseph Robinson applied for an e cig patent in 1930, although there is no information about the design of e cig or how it will work. Although the first functional and marketed electric cigarette was not invented until 2003, the literal concept of an electronic alternative to smoking dates back nearly a century. When Joseph Robinson applied for a patent in 1927, which was issued in 1930, technology was not available for this. There are no records or models, especially a prototype. But Robinson had a good idea. His patent for an “electric vaporizer” showed similarities to modern electronic cigarettes.
In 1930, the danger of smoking was clearly not known. And Robinson's design was not specifically made for tobacco or for the purpose of harm reduction. However, his first time on record was an electric vaporizer, which someone has patented the e cig concept.
If you ask who invented e cig, you will get one of two answers. Hon Lik and Herbert Gilbert. Many actually consider Gilbert the inventor of the el-cigarette.
How does e cig work?
In modern e-cigarette, there are mainly five parts:
Rechargeable lithium-ion battery - this is necessary to power the atomizer for heating. Every electronic cigarette must have this. There are some e-cigarettes with rechargeable lithium-ion batteries that you can remove from e-cig, and there are some el. cigarettes with rechargeable lithium-ion batteries that you cannot remove from el-cigarettes. It is integrated into an electronic cigarette.
Atomizer - this small part is mainly a heating element and a wick. This is necessary to heat and vaporize the contents of the cartridge filled with eliquid inside the electronic cigarette so that it can be inhaled. Atomizers can be of different sizes and can simultaneously store a different number of milliliters.
LED backlight - many electronic cigarettes have a backlight. Some electronic cigarettes even have a display.
Mouthpiece - the mouthpiece is simply designed so that it is more convenient for the user to position the mouth of the electonic cigarette when using it.
Atomizer switch / setting - not all electronic cigarettes have a setting or even a switch, but many do. The settings of E cigarette gives the user control over how much energy they want to use with each stroke. The switch can be turned fully up or down. The higher the setting, the stronger (more concentrated) the steam blow will be received by the user.
One cartridge with eliquid - many e liquids can be purchased at 7Vapes. There is a wide selection of flavors to suit the desires of every single electronic cigarettes’ users.
Microprocessor - different electronic cigarettes have a different design. Some e-cigarettes have a microprocessor as the central brain to make everything work in perfect sequence and with the perfect time to give the user the best experience using e-cigarettes.
One of the best things about electronic cigarettes is how flexible they are and are likely to continue to be in the future. You may have an electronic cigarette consisting of several different parts. The user can have various styles, sizes, shapes and colors. Many who use electronic cigarette exchange the eliquids they have with their close friend to try and experience new tastes.
What is e-liquid?
The e liquid is also often called ejuice. E liquid, in essence, consists of four main ingredients: propylene glycol, vegetable glycerin, nicotine and aromas. Despite their strange-sounding names, propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin are extremely common and are generally considered harmless. They are often reduced to PG and VG, respectively. Both PG and VG are types of organic compounds (naturally occurring substances) and are present in a wide variety of products, including cough medicine, toothpaste and asthma inhalers. They also appear in edible products such as ice cream, whipped dairy products, and coffee-based drinks. Propylene glycol is a very liquid and flowing liquid that retains taste very well and tends to make a significant contribution to the heat of the throat that occurs when packing a small amount of e liquid. Vegetable glycerin, on the other hand, is usually derived from vegetable oil and is a fairly viscous gel-like liquid. The VG / PG ratio Ejuice determines how thick the electron liquid will be - the higher the VG, the smoother and thicker the electron liquid, and conversely, the larger the PG, the smaller the liquid, and the stronger it will be.
How to mix e-liquid?
The electronic cigarette does not include tobacco, but there is the so-called e liquid. At 7Vapes you will find a large variety of ejuices. 7Vapes sells the best eliquids brands. All these brands are the most popular among customers. You can buy ready-made ejuices or choose opt for a shake-and-vape ejuices. But what is the difference? Our finished eliquids are bottled in 60 or 120 ml bottles with a pre-determined nicotine content of 0 to 20 mg. With Shake-and-Vape eliquids, you get the flavor portion of the ejuice in a larger bottle with a filling volume between 60 and 120 ml. Here you simply add the base, and, if necessary, a nicotine shot, the bottle is shaken vigorously several times, and you can immediately evaporate. Unlike flavors, Shake-and-Vape shakes do not require periods of ripening or rest. In addition, there are no restrictions for different ejuices. Hearty, sweet, fruity, cool or fresh, at 7Vapes you will find what you are looking for. Browse our wide selection of juices and find your favorite one.
Before attempting to do-it-yourself mixing, users should have some equipment for the actual mixing, including measuring cups, large measuring syringes, and several empty storage bottles. Users should ensure that the mixing equipment is completely clean, free from dirt, dust or other factors associated with the liquid mixture. Sanitation is important.
The first thing the user must decide is the ejuice ratio. This refers to how many PG and VG you want in the gorge, and determines how thick it will be. If you use an atomizer with a sub-ohm, you will mix your eliquid with 70% VG and above, and if you use the atomizer from the mouth to the lung, it is best to stick to 50% PG and above.
The next thing to choose is the percentage of flavors that need to be added. Most flavors work well for 15% of the total number of eliquid, but this can vary from person to person. The best you can do is start from the 15% range and either dilute or add more flavor as needed to the juice bottle.
If you want your eliquid to contain nicotine, you must select a nicotine shot. You decide on the nicotine strength, with the aforementioned nicotine booster shot. This is not to say that you cannot choose your own flavoring percentage for ejuice, as some flavorings can work well at 10%, others at 12%, and some up to 20%, but only for this concentrate 15% works very well. Most ejuices on the market use a form of nicotine obtained from tobacco leaf, but some manufacturers are looking for other methods: either synthesize nicotine or obtain it from another source.
Nicotine Salt ejuices are basically what the name suggests; an e liquid that manages to encapsulate the natural salt found in the tobacco leaf. By evaporating a salt-based nicotine e liquid, nicotine can be absorbed into the body at a faster rate than standard ejuices, allowing the user to experience a more "natural" nicotine rush that is more akin to smoking a tobacco cigarette. Salt-based nicotine juices aim to provide a more potent nicotine hit than most ejuices can now provide. Using a salt-nicotine e liquid means that the higher nicotine ejuices which were traditionally quite tough in the throat, are now much, much smoother and flavors and tastes can be more clearly experienced. Not only that, salt-based nicotine eliquids also allow the user to receive the nicotine hit at a faster rate, which improves the effectiveness of the vaping experience.
Since they are mainly designed for high nicotine users in the tanks, they are not very suitable for sub-ohm setups, and it would not be advisable to use nicotine salt e liquid with a strong sub-ohm coil.
Nicotine still provides the major part or factor of the neck lift, regardless of how smooth the VG / PG mixture is.
Subhhm restrictions aside, these natural salt-based nicotine juices provide an undoubtedly improved vaping experience for those who use high nicotine ejuices, and can potentially change the way eliquid is produced in the future.
When making ejuice, it is easiest for a user to find out the amounts of each ingredient they will need before starting the mix. The easiest way to do this is with an online calculator. This will work out the exact amount of each component to be added to the ejuice to bring e liquid to the desired ratios of PG / VG, nicotine potency and taste percentage.
The order of adding each part into the e-liquid mix really doesn't matter. Once you have completed your e-juice mix, it is probably a good time to label the e-liquid bottle with its flavor, nicotine strength, ratio and date. The next step is probably the hardest part of the whole process; stepping e juice. If there is a menthol or fruit flavored e-juice being mixed, this will not be necessary, but if it is a dessert or pastry flavor. At least a week of stepping is an absolutely necessary step. Steeping is achieved by leaving e-liquid alone in a dark room at room temperature, in a cool, dry place, such as a closet, while the flavors all become familiar with each other and evolve. If you are not steep, the juice does not taste right. If you buy a premade e-juice, it will have been permeated for at least a couple of weeks before it makes its way to you, which is why you can wrap it right away. DIY e-liquid unfortunately requires more patience, but will be the better for it. When the ejuice is complete, the eliquid is now ready to be steamed. Congratulations!
